My first acquaintance with the industry of network marketing was in 1996. I was a third-year student of Ukrainian-Finnish Institute of Management and Business and, as it seemed to me, I was acquiring a prestigious profession of an economist and a lawyer. Like any other young men, I badly needed my own money. My parents worked as scientists in post-Soviet times, so asking them for money would be at least weird. I started looking for a job and it turned out that nobody really needed economists and lawyers. However, chances of finding even a part-time job were low for students, no matter how prestigious is was.
One fine day, my father picked up an ad on the street and took me along with him to the presentation. There, at the presentation, I found out two things: these people earn money and what is important, they can teach me how to do it. So I decided to give it a try. The coach told that it would take at least a year to form an opinion on the business. And I got into gear. A year after I knew how to make phone calls in a professional way and I had over 2,000 people in my contacts list. I conducted three to seven meetings a day and learned to speak out though I was terribly afraid of that at the beginning. I regularly organized training seminars where I explained these things to my partners. A short while later, there appeared bright leaders in my team and my business entered the international stage!
It does not take a lot to build a business if you know how to do it. Together with the team, we kept on studying - we attended seminars and training. In several years I became one of the best distributors of the company. I was unbelievably proud and became even more committed to what I was doing.
Life changed dramatically. I am doing what I am fond of, communicate and build a business with other people I like to work with. I live in a splendid four-storey private house with my beloved family and two dogs. I practice sports and go to relax at luxurious resorts 3-4 times a year. My business brings me decent income making me uncomfortable to speak about it at meetings of classmates. But what is important, I realized the importance of personal engagement and leadership in life.
Each and every of us is an artist of our lives. To achieve success, you have to take responsibility for your life, happy life of your family, beloved and close ones and get into gear and do your best.
